Patrice Baldeck is CNRS research director at LIPhy (former SPECTRO laboratory). He earned his PhD in Electrical Electronics/Photonics at City College of New York in 1989. He joined CNRS at SPECTRO in 1989. He has been nominated Chair Professor in bio-photonics at Central Taiwan University of Science and Technology in August 2011. His current research activity concern the development of new laser applications with high spatial selectivity, based on the two-photon absorption properties of molecules at the focal point of lasers: micro/nano fabrication, bioimaging and phototherapy. He has been the leader, and principal investigator of 17 and 31 funded research projects, respectively. He has tutored 20 PhD students, and more than 70 Master students. He is the coauthor of 139 publications in international journals, 47 conference proceedings, and 5 book chapters. He hold 3 patents. He has presented or co-authored 74, invited lectures in international conferences, respectively. H-index(ISI web of knowledge)=27 .H-index (Google scholar)=31.
